There is a grommet on the driver side where a wiring harness goes through. you can punch a hole in itand run a wire through.

I currently have it in my truck, but I am going to get one for my car, too, since I will be adding multiple circuits and don't want to jack the current wiring and fusebox.

Will it turn on and off with the car, or should i install a switch to turn it on and off?

It can be setup to do 3 always on and 4 switched. You have to find a switched circuit in the car to actuate the relay.
Steve
Edit: 3 always on and 4 switched.

I will probably install some switches... I'm talking with built by bones right now about roll bars. I'm not sure whether to go through them or autopower...
