BritishCar Roundup 2007 Oct. 13th & 14th

This past weekend on our Jamestown run, we met Steve Phillips and his wife Terri.
Steve is on the Board of Directors of "Valley All British Auto Club".
In the spirit of commradery, I'd like to encourage all MidCal Mini Members to consider attending the British Car Roundup in old downtown Clovis on October 13th & 14th. This is a Big & Fun event. It's basically a shine & show
I know that as a Club we have chosen to participate in one car show per year. The Annual Shriners Car show in June.
I think that by attending and possibly adding this event annually, we will be able to increase our Club membership & get more exposure in general.
In my humble opinion, I think it would be a good idea to affiliate ourselves with this organization, just as we've been fortunate enough to do thru Kurt & the Shriners organization. OK enough of that.
Here is the link to their web site. http://www.valleybritish.org/2007_br...ndup_flier.htm
There is a lot of information here.(check out the website)
The complete two day schedule of events as well as the downloadable registration form. For those of you who did not get a form at the last meeting I have extras. I can get one to you if you need one.
If any of us plan on attending, please reply to this post so I have an idea of who'll be attending. I'd like to have a good representation of New MINI's.
Steve & Terri had a great time on the run and are looking forward to seeing us at this event.

I was really looking to going with y'all, but my wife reminded me that my brother is getting married that weekend. Next time though, for sure!

Of course your Minis are welcome! They are all assembled in the UK and that's good enough for the Valley British Auto Club. We have quite a few New Mini's in the club already so come on down you won't regret it!

Yes, if your comming down from 99, you will take Herndon to get to Clovis. You will go a good 10-12 miles down Herndon. About 4-5 down there is a Jacks car wash, all by hand. They will be on the right hand side on West Ave.
I will check with Jana to see if she will be going. I know that here show will be closing that weekend. She would like everyone to know that she will be in a real funny show at the Ice House theater that will open in Nov. Jana will get back to everyone on the show dates. That would be a good outing and lots of nice resturants here in Visalia.
See ya.
See ya.
Robert- Per our phone conversation the other day,you pretty much explained everything regarding the show. The only thing that I wanted to bring up was about the run on Sat. If we get enough people,I can lead the run about 5-10 minutes ahead of everyone, for the people who want to drive alittle faster. I'm sure none of us want to get stuck behind an MGTD going 35MPH up a hill including me. Steve Phillips
