Depends when you are driving, I think. It will come in from the southwest, so you may be ok. They aren't sure how much we are to get, and I'm holding them to that. All I know is that I'll be in for it if I wait too long, as I'm headed SW, from NE Ohio on Sunday. One forecaster said it might hang around until late Monday.
Saturday's supposed to be ok...cold and sunny, but nice driving weather. It's Sunday that it's supposed to all go downhill...fast. There's a system in the far West that looks as if it could cause some real headaches for travellers on Sunday and Monday in the Ohio Valley.
Oh my gosh! My snow tires may actually experience snow this winter.
Well, I washed my car yesterday since the forcast was for "Clear" (man, that hose water is COLD), and of course it snowed this morning. Ack! Hopefully it will clear up by tomorrow - the sun's out which is a good sign.
The report for tonight into tomorrow looks clear, buggery cold, but still clear. So barring any crazed blizzard coming down off of Lake MI, which we all know can happen, I should be there tomorrow morning. See you then...
Great I am driving from Detroit to Columbus Sunday :(
They are saying the snow will begin in Western Ohio around 7 AM on Sunday, with the worst of it over by around 1 PM or so, Sunday afternoon...around 3". That's not much, but it IS our first snow of the season, so I'm SURE there will be all sorts of accidents. They also haven't said if there will be much wind for drifting, but they DID say we might have some ice to spice things up a bit.
It was nice to meet everyone and get to see out motoring's facility. And Just drop me a PM about those x lites you have for sale. I can pick them up next weekend.
Sorry guys I was going to show up today and finally meet you all, but I ended going to the Detroit Auto Show (for free) at 6:30am with the Ohio State Engineering department.
We had a great time yesteday! It was fun meeting everyone and the trip back to outmotoring made it even better. I definetly think we got lucky with the weather. Our trip back was pretty much nothing but sun. Looking forward to motoing out again.
