Well, the upside of being laid off is that I've had the time to get all my "bitz" put back on Nano... Not only did I just install the front CF splitter that used to be on Mark's "CHKMINI". but I also installed the Hella angel-eyes driving lamps that have been sitting on my bench since last fall. I also had the chance to repaint my chipped tow hook and carbon-marred exhaust tips with fresh high-temp paint and they look sharp. She's looking pretty good....

See you guys on Saturday maybe - I may be down in CInci on Sat. morning, but I'll see about coming back early. If I don't see you guys, I'll be there in APril for sure.

The Hellas are the same ones that I had on the orange MINI - the lamps were destroyed when the car got rolled, but somehow the brackets survived:

Those pics of Nano sure bring back memories. You were heavily modding her when I was a new member here on NAM and it was one of my favorite MINIs.

Sorry to hear you were laid off but glad to hear you're making good use of your free time. Enjoy it while you can, I'm sure you'll be back to working soon enough.

 

I really like the Hella's! They seem much smaller than the normal Hella's (500s?) that I see on most MINIs. I like the size ratio much better... is there a "model" name or something so I can look around online for a pair?
