January 17th Breakfast - New Place?

The next breakfast is scheduled for January 17th at Tim Hortons. Are we meeting at the Tim Hortons across from Outmotorings old headquarters or at the Tim Hortons that we used to meet a couple of years ago? I know we had discussions at the December breakfast to switch locations back to the original, what's the consensus? Also, who's coming to breakfast?

Kim, OT - have you hit 100,000 miles yet? I did a couple of weeks ago

Kim, if you'd drive a little more you'll get the job done. Mark once the odo turns past 100K does the MINI become a new car again? Please tell me yes.

Back on topic....

Top Gear & which Tim Horton's they'd go to.

I believe the Stig would like either one, but he'd be disappointed there are no scones or clotted cream.

I will be at whichever one we chose, but I like to old one better than the new one. We had that lower parking lot to ourselves most days.

I agree that lower lot is pretty much ours at the old Tim's on New Albany Rd.

I did like the fact that at the new Tim's we could sit inside & gaze at our MINI's all in a row outside like a bunch of multi colored M&M's. Mmmm M&M's... It was also fun to watch someone try & squeeze a crew cab dually in next to us at the new place.

I don't see that happening at the old Tim's. It's only a couple of miles difference one to the other. Either one works well, but I'm leaning towards the old one. Lots more room inside for people.

What do you other folks think?

There's something I like about the "old" one now that I've been there. And now that Outmotoring isn't across the street any more........(sniff sniff).........

Outmotoring is still alive & well. Close by too, from either Tim's.

If you know the secret handshake or password Aaron will let you in his parts bunker. All the good stuff is down there. I've seen it.

I'll teach you the secret handshake for a coffee & a donut.

I'd gladly join you for a coffee & a donut either way.

Does that mean they are still in the same place in New Albany?

I also liked the new location (new to me, old location to some, never been visited location to others). We just need to figure out how to let Paul and Andy know if we change things up.

I say we spray paint the parking lot with directions to the other Tim's.

Or maybe just spray a line on the road from one to the other

So confused!

Anyways, whatever is decided is fine by me. It's only about 5 mins closer so no worries on that venue.

I think we should run a shuttle bus from the old new Tim's to the new old Tim's. I'll drive.

Have you decided on a place? What ever you do don't change your day. BRM is meeting on second Saturdays - You guys/gals are always welcome up north. We meet this Saturday at Panera in Mayfield off I-271. I can push my mini to it if I need to, I moved just down the street in November.

It's looking like the place that you & the family were last month.

So, coming from Columbus the new old Tim Horton's is off of the exit before the exit to the old new Tim Horton's?

Correct and once you get off of 161 you will take a right instead of a left.

I agree, lets go back to the 'old' tim horton's as listed here as they have a much better dining area that will hold us all and there's a Wendys in the same facility AND the parking is much better. See ya next time!
