Vintage races this weekend??

Mid-Ohio is hosting the SVRA vintage grand prix this weekend. It's a wonderful weekend full of classic race cars. The infield is also full of interesting cars. A few of us are going up. Anyone else want to come along?

So far it's...

Brian
Mark
Kim is driving down from Cleveburg.
Chuck
_____ Who's next???

I will be there Friday & Saturday.

You are 100% correct, he'll fit right in. You could send him an invite via PM.

Are you going to park as a club. I see some different ticketing if you are in a club. Are we a club...I there world?
Are you going to meet there or Walmart or McDonalds.
I am asking but I am still checking the weather for Saturday.

Let's see, I can park in the shade with my friends or I can park in the sun as a club. Looks like shade for me.

I'll be there walking the paddock tomorrow & by Saturday I'll be ready for some shade.

If you register for the battle of the Brit's you can do a lap of the track. I'll take anyone's picture who makes it on track.

Registration for the battle of the Brit's is from 8 - 10. You might need to leave a tad earlier.

For anyone who wants to drive up with us tomorrow. The caravan leaves the Panera's on the north end of Westerville at 8:00 am.

Yes Don that was Pete Sabeff. Is he a friend of yours? He had a great qualifying race. He keep this Z28 behind him for the whole race.
They raced very close too.

Your camera cleaned up my mini very nicely.

Off-roading to find the secret Silverback Lair. Looked like Mark couldn't find it. But "weedhopper" Jason & me the "NYEFOFS" (Not Yet Eligible for Old Fart Status) did find it.

Where are the rest of the 1,000,000+ pictures you took?

Great time, too bad more LAME members didn't make it.

Yep it was a LAME old time & I had big fun. I used a special hyrdo filter to clean your MINI during the photographic process.

You found the secret silverback lair by following the trail of empty Timbits boxes didn't you?

I'm working on the 500 or so pictures right now.

Thanks for the info. I have known Pete off and on for about 15 years, mostly at the track. He races the Tiger with RMVR. He does push the Tiger and really knows his car and drives well.

Did he dual drive one of his FF or other cars, just curious. Nice to see his picture at this track. I will pass along your photo, if you don't mind.

a great day for miniisms

Hi All.
I am sorry that I missed it. I was there Friday for a couple of hours.
I was watching the weather yesterday. I had another commitment for 4:00 pm here in Canton, Ohio.
Friday was cool I was 1 of only about 300 spectators.
I talked to the MG b People and the Mini drivers.
Fun.
All the best,
Steve
