Hi guys!! We are talking about going to the Dragon the week after we get our car! Last time we went we stayed in a very nice cabin near Gatlinburg and drove to the Dragon! It was nice, but we only went to the Dragon once. We were thinking about staying a little closer this time. Any suggestions??

 

We stayed at the Blue Waters Mountain Lodge near Robbinsville. It was GREAT!!!! The breakfasts were outstanding (the scones are outrageous!!) and the dinners were great as well. We will definitely be back, and it was very convenient to Deals Gap.

Blue Ridge Parkway Tour - June 19-22, 2008 sounds wonderful!! Too bad we won't have our car yet!!!

 

Kim if you can get a room at the Blue Waters do it. Barbara & I loved the place. Two thumbs up.

 

We stayed at the Microtel in Robbinsville in July '07 and here http://sawyersden.com/ for MOTD08. Both were very nice and realatively close.

 

We stayed at Sawyer's Den for MOTD5 in 2007! Loved it. Beautiful place. A little tricky up the driveway the first time in the dark...
