Items for sale - any local interest?

Hey gang...I have some stuff from my R53 that I'll be offering in marketplace soon, but I thought I'd check if anyone local wants it before dealing with shipping. Can deliver at the next Tim Horton's meet or available for pickup in Blacklick or Westerville. Let me know...

1. $15. GoMINIGo glovebox tidy for 1st Gen Coupe. Red felt. (pending)
http://www.gominigo.com/EarlyGbT.html

2. $75. XM radio receiver, antenna, and blitzsafe adapter setup for 1st Gen. Hooks up to CD changer port in boot. Fully integrates with head unit.

3. $120. PDA navigation system. Includes:
  • Dell Axim PDA (has CompactFlash and SD slot)
  • PDA car cradle (hardwired to power)
  • GPS antenna (hardwired to cradle)
  • TomTom navigation software (2004 version)
  • Kuda dashboard mount for 1st Gen. Second item here.
  • PDA dock for your desk.
The PDA's battery doesn't last long (new ones are available on ebay), but when setup in the car, it's powered. Requires a compact flash or SD card (512MB to 1GB should do). If I can find it, I'll also include a WiFi adapter for the PDA at no extra charge.

Mike

Hey Mike, thanks for offering this stuff to us first. Won't the XM work on the R56?

Sure...got me doubting myself now. Just did some searching and it looks like the R56 uses a fiber optic connection, so the blitzsafe is a no-go.

Sorry to hear that. I love my XM Blitzsafe combo. I was planning on moving it to an R56 in the future.

I may be interested in the glove box tidy.... Red will clash a bit, but it'll be crammed with stuff so it probably won't show anyway. I have the OEM one, but it's a bit lacking and I always liked the look of the GoMINIGo one... Would you mind if I tried it out with the stuff I usually have in the box and make my decision then?

I need to check with my wife, but I think I will take the XM. We have talked about it a couple of times. Anybody know how much the subscriptions are for their services?

Usually about $12/month. If you pre-pay, it's less per month, but you have to pay the chunk up-front. I don't know if XM is the same way, but with Sirius, you also get access to a web site that streams the signal to your PC, so you can listen at work (provided the site isn't firewalled). I'm listening to my Sirius account as I type...

No problem at all, but gominigo has a version of the organizer specifically for the cabrio and this was for the hard top. Oddly, they use the exact same pictures for both. Not sure what the glove box diff is, but it might not fit.

You will be happy with that set up Allen. That's what I have & I love it. The cost is $142.45 for a year or $11.87 per month & worth every penny. They have everything from aboriginal hip hop music to Phil Ochs.

Or you could come full circle and say that the kid's for sale and ask if there's any local interest!

Cabrio and Hardtop are the same prior to 2007. The Gbt for Cabrio is still the same as it has been in the previous years.
