Been giving dogs baths actually after inventorying my gifts and seeing what is yet to be done.

Kim, I read the article about your plate. Funny photo!
BTW, I'm a graphic designer too.

Thanks, I'm a graphic designer by trade but I earn a living working at an accounting firm. The PD thing has made a lot of people I know laugh, especially the photo.

Wifey and I just got back from a celebratory dinner of my 34th year of existence. It was nice to go out to dinner and not have to help color a kids menu! Then I went out and bought a new Wii game with some of my birthday cash.

I had no idea there were so many graphic designers in this group. What department do you work for at OSU? Did you go through the program there?

I'm a grad student at OSU and drive a Mini. Go figure. This is like 6 degrees of separation - I wonder how many ways we could find to link everyone (aside from our Minis!)

Half the reason I'm leaving. There is only so much you can dump on someone. Although they are replacing me with two grad students

Never went to OSU... think a "Buckeye" is a poisonous nut of no commercial value...

BUT I drive a MINI and went to art school, and among other things I did study graphic design. In the end, I found ceramics and printmaking more interesting though...

I started out doing graphic design and a part of me will always notice and care about type, layout and composition. But I much prefer being a photo illustrator and working in Photoshop.

I got the Star Wars Lego game, which wifey and I started playing last night I also have Mini Desktop Racing, I played it for about 2 hours and haven't played it since. I was thinking the steering would be done like an actually steering motion, it's not. You have to keep the remote pointed at the screen (in one hand) and twist your wrist left and right.

...been working....those pesky holiday orders keep coming in but today it was finally calm. I actually managed to waste about 30 minutes on google for change!!

Now, if I could only run a business that required no effort, no work or actual commitment. Anyone?

DOn't get me started on gaming. We have every system ever built (Arari 2600? Check. Wii? Double-check), except the PS3, but with the price reduction, I bet we'll have one of those, as well. I also play PC games, so much so that I'm the Senior Editor for PC Games and hardware over at MyGamer.com as my "moonlight" third job. Gah.

Lego Star Wars, in a word, RAWKS. Grayson's been playing it since it came out, and has the PS2, Xbox 360 and Gameboy versions. Fun for adults, too - highly recommended!

Aaron - when you get large enough to afford Product Managers, give me a ring - it's what I do all day, and I'd rather develop new products that I really care about. Well, OK, I care about the products I develop now (Online Banking and Bill Pay security applications), but I care about MINIs more, you know? I have no doubt that one day you'll have a huge, international MINI/stereo/whatever boutique empire, and when you do, don't forget me!

Graphic Designer.

PS2 owner, fan of Star Wars Battlefront, (asked for Lego Star Wars for Xmas), and of course, Gran Turismo 4.

Huge fan of MINI, obviously.

Aaron what you really need is an overpaid personal assistant. I can surf the web for you

Great now I have to go pick up the Lego Star Wars game, I have had it in my hand a bunch of times, but never actually bought it. I have a PS 2 and two games for it NFL 2006 (I have played it maybe 10 times) and GT 4 which I fear will soon have a hole in it from being played too much. To tottaly hijack this my favorite car is the C4 race car it is excellent with all the traction controls off if slides just enough. Second favorite is the 427 Cobra with the engine modded to the hilt and the traction control off, just keeping it on the road is hard I think my best lap of the ring in the Cobra was 12 minutes with atleast 20 doughnuts along the way

When GT 5 comes out I will buy at PS 3 and GT 5 that day.

Poor Silverbacks have no opposable thumbs to play video games

You could try DDR:
