Great shots! You're off to a good start.

What kind of MODs are you interested in? Primarily visual/style or performance? I'm not up on what's available on the R56 coupe, performance-wise, but people like Aaron (the guy that owns Outmotoring) can brief you on what's out and what's coming out.

If it's style you're after, check out the "Interior/Exterior MODs" forums in both the 1st Generation and 2nd Generation forums - many of the style MODs that people have done on the R53 can be adapted for the R56 with a bit of work, and if you're not sure how to proceed, there are lots of knowledgeable folks there that can give you advice on how to start. Many people put shots of their MODs in their galleries or in threads, so hang around and soon enough the ideas will start flowing, I'm sure.

Nice pics. As an aside, make sure you have a viable solution (excuse?) for the lack of a front plate. The OSHP can be picky if not downright tenacious about the front plate.

Aaron at Outmotoring has the 4-light setup in his lower grille, which blocks the mounting point for a front plate. He puts his plate in the front window on the dash, and told me that he'd had no hassles (yet). If you don't want to drill the front bumper, there's also a bracket that mounts to the tow hook socket.

Nice pictures. Were those taken down in the valley. That Bridge looks like the one on Everett Rd, over the creek. I remember when that bridge was open, actually I remember the original bridge. Yep I'm an old fart.

Nice looking MINI.

As far as plates go, I run a front plate. Your choice if you don't. Just be ready to pay the fine.

DON'T put your plate in your front window. I have a friend who damn near lost his ear because of that. He was involved in a wreck & that plate flew like a knife blade.

Can't tell you. I run one so I've never had to pay a fine. Guess you could call down to the courthouse & ask.

I lasted one day without a front plate and was pulled over by the OSP. He gave me a warning, said to get the plate on the front or the next time he saw me I would be ticketed. (I drive the same highway everyday). I've had a plate on the front since then. It's your choice, I just don't want to give them any excuse to pull me over and give me a prostrate exam.

Nice looking MINI My next will be PW

Stop out to breakfast this month and join the insanity....we have silverbacks and weedhoppers (Old Farts and Flat Bellies) in the group and we have a great laid back time together.
