Authentic English "The Pub" now open in NE Ohio
Hello Mid-Ohio brethren. I haven't had much to say in a while (although it seems Kim as picked up the NE Ohio slack)!!! Anyway, we're having a get together at the brand spanking new, brand spanking cool, authentic English Pub in Rocky River, OH, on Sunday, November 11 at 12:30 (just in time to watch the Browns vs. Steelers). The manager has set aside the front end of the parking lot for us, which means if the weather is decent and we're on the heated patio, the cars will be in spitt, er, touching distance for all to see. They've promised the Mini group drink & food discounts. What could be more appropriate than to give our rides a taste of home?!?!
Hope any/all of you can make the trip. www.luvthepub.com Be aware, the RR location is on there, but they haven't updated the site top reflect that it is open!

That sounds like it could be fun. Don't care much for football, but if my friends & some MINI's are there that would work.
Is this event sanctioned by LAME?

I was invited to a party of co-worker that day (in Hinkley) but could probably get there early and then drive to his place or meet you guys after depending on how long you are going to be there

Guess they couldn't delete you from your own event.
Looks like you had a great turn out Bob. I'm very sorry I couldn't make it.
Did the little king of deletions give you your much deserved apology???

Well, for the record, it really was Greg's event...I was co-producer!
Seriously, I just didn't talk to that group. I found it interesting that the best that I could observe (and I certainly didn't watch them every last second), but it seemed like they had their "usual" group, all sat together at one big table and they didn't try to "expand" out to the new people that were there. Greg was doing that best he could...who knows. As stated, I certainly didn't know all of who was who...
I only wish for a more active group in the area, regardless of who's in charge. It just seems to me the the "old guard" are still set on doing things only via that website, and new people don't even know it's there.

Don't fret my friend. That is how the true inner core membership works. Pull the wagons in a circle & keep those pesky outsiders out. If ya don't let them in you don't have to later delete them when they ask a tough question.
