Correction to earlier post...I had the date wrong (AGAIN)....

Hey guys....on the weekend of May 17th Scoobs and family will be up for a visit with their MINI! They will be staying in Alexandria, VA. I would like to organize a lunch get together in their honor so they can meet some of the MidAtlantic crew! The date of the lunch is Sunday, May 18th....

Now I am new to the NoVA area...so any suggestions for this lunch would be much appreciated. I don't really know where anything is. TJ suggested Hard Times Cafe in Springfield, so I will post directions to there. Scoobs....it's pretty much right near where you will be staying.

Let's show them a good time on their visit!!!

 

I think that my wife and I will be there. I will be post call but I will probably still come down. We needed to come back down anyhow to test run the rally route for The Italian Job Movie Rally.

Be sure to let us know exact times and location when you have them ironed out. The later the better for me

A place to keep in mind for future events is Mango Mikes on Duke Street -- midway between Landmark and Old Town (about 2 miles from 395). It's a pretty interesting destination by DC standards. For those who don't know it, it's a tropical styled restaurant with a large outdoor deck, large bar, and a few dining areas.
