Hey guys. Once again, sending an invite to all of you Mini drivers. Every Saturday night, we (Focus people) get together and go bowling, shoot pool, or just go somewhere to eat. We generally meet between 9pm and 9:30pm at Hard Times Cafe in Springfield Plaza (Springfield, VA), and then go from there.

Would love for some of you to join in sometime. We always have fun!!

I keep seeing meet and greets and drive to eats up in NoVa, and pics from a Williamsburg gathering- is this the same group? I live in Virginia Beach and need to find my local MINI club. Any help would be appreciated. As the situation allows, I may have to drive to DC to hang with the Mid-Atlantic club. Oh the horror of having to drive my MINI for nothing more than the pleasure of like minded crazies.
May is too far away, but worth the wait. Come slay the dragon.

just so you guys know, L.Mini made an appearance at our GTG this weekend. was a fun time had! it's good to see some new faces in the mix. 3 foci, and a mini. :smile: it was kinda cold, and plans were all wacky this past weekend, but it was still cool to see the normal heads out there, and adding a mini to the mix was awesome.

would love to see some more of you guys next weekend (feb 8th). same time, same place. 9 times out of 10, it's cosmic bowling! :smile:

 

once again, L.Mini made it to our weekly meet. we had about 6 or 7 people there this week. was 9, but 2 of them left early (other plans). we still had a great time. lots of laughs, that's for sure. hope to see some more of you guys out there someday.

Sounds like there's the possibility of a Expatriate Pittsburgher subgroup in the area. I live in Alexandria and just put an order down on an MCS with Mini of Sterling. It's an 8 month wait but I get one last summer with my Miata (after enduring this winter, I'm going to need it). I am from Cranberry originally but lately been crashing on the South Side when I'm visting the Burgh.

Just more proof, that DC is Pittsburgh on the Potomac.

 

Hey Teldon... should have returned to the Mother City to buy your MINI. When I ordered mine in November, they had a 2 week waitlist. I had my MCS a little over a month later. Of course, there isn't much you can do about that now and here I am, fellow 'Burger, potentially making you feel bad

I was wondering again... I fell off the face of the earth since first begging for your acceptance and all of my Fridays have been eaten--does anyone ever do anything midweek?
