This is the new Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point in West Virginia. Don't be fooled by the location, it is only a 3 hour drive from the Philadelphia metropolitan area!!

Shenandoah is a great track for our MINIs, and this event is run by the Mazda Driving Associates. All marques are welcome. I did an event with them in July and it was a very well-run event.

Is that a completely new circuit? I used to work corners at Summit Point back when we had to chase the mastodons out of the pits and I don't think I see much of the old circuit in that course map.

Looks like a fun course to run.

 

Completely new! Opened less than a year ago. It is truly a blast, especially in our MINIs, very well suited to that track. There are some videos at that
site, did you check them out?

Wish I could, but there's a Family Gathering for that week end that is pretty much a command performance for me, since it's my family and all.

Sure would like to see that track, though.

Lessee, the leaves change colors in Harper's Ferry and they don't in Baja Georgia where I live. So, I'll bet my wife would just love to take a ride up that way in the fall to see the fall colors.

Yeah, that's it, a Go See The Fall Colors run to include Summit Point. I think I can sell that.

Now to explain why we've got to take the helmet and stuff....
