Hi y'all,

I am some 9 or 10 weeks away from being a "actual" Mini owner -- I just have a 1/20th share of one and a production number at the moment. Thought I'd stop by in advance of the fact and introduce m'self.

My sweetie and I currently reside in a mini-house in Glen Arm (definitely a "cute" place -- I'll post a pic soon). We're not too far from Loch Raven so I was psyched to see the picture from August's meet. I'm self employed as a computer consultant (Pemburnia Consulting) and web developer. Leanne is an a artist and decorative painter (faux finishes, etc.) We just bought a wonderous five acres in the woods near Bel Air and we'll be building our dream house -- a super energy-efficient straw bale structure -- starting sometime this year and finishing who knows when? I'm also a guitar player specializing in surf/instrumental music and a percussionist majoring in djembe.

I look forward to meeting you folks sometime. Motoring and crab cakes sounds great!

Glad I thought to check back here again.

Frau Blüecar turned 500 miles old earlier today. I am so pleased with this l'il car!

Pretty sure I've seen L.Mini's MINI a time or two. She may have passed me on the beltway while I was stuck in traffic on my way home from the dealership the day I pick Die Frau up.

Anyhow, I'll check in here from time to time to see what's going on. If there's a gathering on a weekend that's not already booked (rare to find ), I'd love to meet some of y'all face to face.

And hang in there minibear -- the month'll be up before you know it and you'll be rockin'!
