I can't believe there is no thread for the NEPA area?! Especially today when I saw a gorgeous CR/W S (who waved) and Blue Cooper within 15 minutes. I typically see 10-15 MINIs a week in the Scranton area, what with all the out-of-towners tht go to the UofS. Anyone on NAM from the area??

I came from the Volvo-world over on SwedeSpeed.com and this site is wayyyyyyy busier when compared. But we had meets almost once or twice a month at area breweries and fantastic drving roads. I'd like to think MINI owners are more enthusiastic than Volvo owners and would be down for some meets!

 

I'm a new Mini Owner and a Chevy SSR enthusiast/owner. I've had some great experiences with the SSR group and are looking forward to teaming up with fellow Mini owners.... especially if there was a group here in NEPA. I'm also here in the Scranton area.

Maybe we should try and rally some troops here in NEPA?

There are two MINIs in Mount Pocono parked in my garage.

 

There are 2 Minis parked in my driveway right now in Thornhurst (Lackawanna/Luzerne co. border)

And we have only been mini owners less than a month!!

Wow, I don't know why I didn't search for a thread like this earlier! Good job starting one I've always been a VW person and am on VWVortex.com -- I had purchased a mini last month, but due to difficulties with the dealership (he lied to the finance co.... long story..ugh) but I had to take her back.. and hopefully I will be a mini owner again soon.
But I'm right outside of the Allentown area and I see them often. When I did have my mini I would typically get waves Some from much older people which was awesome

 

I have a friend moving to that area so I will be driving my MINI out for a weekend this fall (Maybe October 9th-ish for my birthday). We should have a meetup!

Really?! I live outside of Danville. Work in town so i'm constantly in, or going through town. Do you have a MINI?! If so don't forget to wave!

No mini yet, going to wait until the spring to do some serious car shopping. Clubman is one of my first choices but is subject to change if I find something better.

MINI of Allentown is having an event this weekend. I wish I could go, but I have plans Sunday already and a 4 hour drive each way in 1 day is a little much for me.

That's pretty sweet - I know they just built that dealership within the past few months... I'm sure it's their way of kind of 'getting out there' - I wish I didn't have plans already for this weekend I would like to stop by there.. it's not far from me at all.

 

Hey guys I was actually thinking about having a rally here in the Williamsport area. I was just thinking of a route that would include a lunch stop and have found a pretty good one. Length of the trip after lunch depends on how long you would want to drive. I'm not sure if any of you have been to the PA Grand Canyon at all? Let me know if you might be interested.

Yeah I can do middle of October. I just have to wait a couple weeks to make a date because I have to find out when I take the fitness test for the State Police in October.

 

count my wife and I (and collie) in...we just reuturned last week from Mini Takes the States (Denver) and Mini in the Mountains (Winter Park, CO)

a drive to W-port is only 1 and 1/2 hours...no prob

mid-october works better than september...but there is a huge PhillyMini rally in NEPA in october also
