I need to set up the car for this season....swap some bushings, adjust the suspension. Sometime over the next few weekends....depends on weather....cold concrete floors are not a fun place to work
I can do it myself, but it's more fun to drink a few beers with fellow enthusiasts. PM me if you want to come out. Cross coilovers, poly rear bushings, need to swap and adjuster on the Cross and find out what wire I nicked on my rear airbag charge cylinder when cutting holes for the adjusters.
I've got nice Snell speakers and a subwoofer in the garage....plus a nice setup.

You need one of propane garage heaters - they sound like a jet engine when they're heating up your garage! Many a singed pair of jeans on them. :-)
I may be game for helping - even if I learn a few things. I do want to get that JCW Steering Wheel and shifter k-***.

no...only cool kids can come. you need to up your game a bit to get on that list.
I have a parabolic dish heater and a radiant heater, so, once the car is inside, it's not bad, but laying on the cold concrete slab while working under the car has much suck. If I had propane....I'd blow **** up.

I may be interested, but I don't know if I'll be busy when you want to do it. Saturday evenings may be best for me. I'm an experianced wrench turner so I may be of much assistance. Would you be needing any tools too? PM me when you are getting ready to do stuff.
I do have a small propane heater too.

I'm in for turning wrenches! I've been dying to do something since the weather turned. I wont be much help since Ive never worked on the mini before and it will probably be more beneficial for me then for you but i'm ok with that!

I could be down for helping out. I don't know what weekends I've got available but if I'm free I'll come by.
Plus I just want to know if I'm cooler than Krut.

looks like Sat afternoon we'll fool with my car and also replace a strut mount on a Subaru (tweaked from rally-x).
longer term (maybe two weeks later), I could use a hand removing the header....need to send back for some work. I don't feel comfortable with a DIY, but maybe it's not that big of a deal.

guess another install day will come and go where only Subaru guys come by to hang out. w00t for Suby owners....boo for MINI owners

Here's the last big install day at my place:

and at my buddy's place in Haymarket (with a lift):

cool! I think we're going to hold off tomorrow. I want to do the Spring Fling run on Sunday and if I pull the header off now, the car will sit until I can get it back. I've got a JCW exhaust on order....I'd like to put the stock header and it on until such time as the RMW stuff comes back my way (they are moving the outlet a bit to the passenger's side...sits too close to the heat shield.
