Where? 1175 Soldiers Field Road, Boston, MA 02135

When? July 13th Sunday @ 4:30 PM

Why? Because we will meet other awesome MINI owners and will be discussing future meets and other "ideas".

There is a HUGE parking lot at 1175 Soldier's Field Road. At approx 5:15 we will depart for a MINI run to Sonic Drive In for Burgers and Tater tots. If you haven't been in a MINI Run before, this is a great opportunity!

I'll see if I can try and make this, The Lowell meets are just a little far for me.

 

I will be there. Maybe we can get this on the MINI of Boston Facebook page too.

And just a note, although likely not needed. There is a state police station across the street from location A. I know it is unlikely that anyone will be speeding/breaking laws but just be aware. It is very easy to pick up speed on Storrow/Soldiers Field and there are often radar traps on that stretch.

Be careful kids, no need for certificates of fun.

No Facebook page since Bill "MINIs of Boston" on FB seems to not want to put this event on there? Maybe I will make a "real" MOB page and add everyone to that.

 

Turn it into a reality show and call it "The Real MINI's of Boston".. then we can branch out into different markets.

 

I just moved up here a few weeks ago from Texas. We don't have Friendly's in Texas.

Ah, sorry, your name change on NAM threw me off a little.

 

I changed my screen name to match my other ones on the DFW MINI site and Mass Motoring. In addition, both of the pets that that screen name was originally created because of have now died so it's easier to go by my name instead of a screen name that I set up over a decade ago.

 

No need to make your own page Corey . Someone just posted this up on the facebook page today and since I've been busy with a lot of other things, I haven't been on any of the forums. I know I've been slacking a bit lately. I've been getting ready for my move next weekend, working on a MINIs of Boston website (which is not up and running just yet, and getting a web-store set up to sell MoB items. I'll keep it posted on the facebook page for everyone to see and I'll try to make it out for the meet as well. I hope after my move next weekend I can get back into the groove of things and get back on top of things. If you guys are planning anything though, you can always post it up on the facebook page or send me a message. If I know about it, I will keep it posted on the facebook page for you guys.

That was an amazing turnout. I was honestly expecting only 4 MINIs to show up, but it looks like we may have some lurkers here

Great meeting everyone today. I loved the Countryman that showed up. There was a amazing range of MINIs and it's always great to check out other MINIs. There was this also one white silver MINI R56S with hulk-green seats. I would love to snap up some more photos of that car the next time we meet!

For those who came out today, keep an eye on this thread. I'm going to come back and update within a couple days to post up some photos, and confirm all the details for the next meet. Stay tuned!

We moved the meeting location a bit further down the road to a larger lot in case more MINIs show up. Here's a map of the new lot from the old lot.

There is an adequate amount of parking spaces here. It would be awesome to park a row of MINIs here right off Soldier's Field Road for other cars to see. Just hop on Storrow Drive West and follow the road signs to Watertown. It'll be a fun drive just to get here


At 7:30, we will be leaving Location A to head to Location B - Wild *****'s at Watertown.
