FS: 17x7 FLIK WASPS WITH TIRES (FALKEN ZIEX)

17x7 Flik Wasps with Falken Ziex with a good amount of tread left.. Used for about 5k Miles. One of 1 rim has been curbed, another has a tiny dent. If anyone needs some winter deals im asking HALF the price I paid. They cost me!

$450 obo

I am not willing to ship, it will cost way too much to do it myself. I live in Queens, NY and they are available for pick up or meet. I will try to post pics soon, my new digicam broke, I'm going to borrow my g/f's. I've sold stuff on here before, and never had any problems. So, i'm sure you guys can take my word for it.

This is what they look like brand new.

Just a side note there are many places that can refinish a wheel and fix any dents or scratches for cheap. (i just looked it up)

Hello from a fellow Queens MINI owner ...
I had the same set of wheels for sale earlier this year. They were totally banged up though and sold them succesfully on Craigslist ... try that site, its a good bet and lots of people looking for MC stuff locally.

Falken Ziex High Performance Summer Tires.

One of them is curbed and the other has a tiny dent. I did some research online and it should only cost about $100 to fix them if you really wanted to.

The cost of shipping wouldnt make sense. You might be better off buying new ones.

shipping wheels and tires isnt really that expensive.

put carboard on either side of the rim, wrap some straps around the tire to secure the cardboard, slap a UPS sticker on them and go.

nope, just protect the rim and slap a label on them.

maybey at the furthest extent, wrap the entire thing in plastic.

its how every tire company sends mounted wheels and tires.

well, you overpaid on shipping. put cardboard on either side of the tire, strap them and ship them. you will open up your market quite a bit.

Ive gotten mounted rims and tires from Summit, Coker, and even a set from Mustangs Unlimited, they all send them with cardbard on either side of the rim with straps on it, ive never seen a set of mounted tires shipped in a box.

He's not hijacking. He is trying to help, by telling you HOW to ship them cheaper if you'd be willing to.

I just ordered wheels from Edge Racing, and they came with carboard on the sides, not boxed.

I have uploaded pics...

view them here http://www.nychq.com/wheels/

I would have posted them but I wanted to keep them at a high resolution so you can see the detail.

The wheels are DIRTTTTYY.

I also called some random rim repair shops and with the problems I described they said around 80-90 to fix them.

They must go and I really don't want to ship hopefully someone local will want them... if not I guess I'll have to ship, but the price does not include shipping.

thats not a dent, thats a chunk of metal missing!

And, not to be picky, but cleaning them up before taking pictures would probably sell them faster.

Pat ... in the condition they are in ... I really recommend going the Craigslist route.
My Wasps were in better shape then yours, not by much though and ... well ... I am not even going to post what I got for them.

Honestly, there not bad at all. There just really dirty in those pics. It will only cost $80-90 to have them repaired. I love these wheels but I want to go a new deepdish route...

Like I said, I'll take best office, but local pickup is what i really want.

I didnt say it was the one with the dent, but the one with the dent appears to be missing metal.

Wasting hours? The time put into cleaning them will probably come back to benefit you in a high sale price.

Its too much work...they're in my storage room and i'd have to move them out of there... if anyone in queens/LI wants to come see them in person that would help me big time. hopefully there is someone. I'm not in a huge rush to sell maybe ill clean them on monday i have off from work.
