For Sale: White Holey Wheels & Tires.

I have four white Holey wheels plus tires for sale. The tires came with the wheels from factory, perfectly balanced and mounted.

All wheels are in new condition and two tires are new, while the other two are in usable condition.

Price asked: $250-$350 (as per dad).

Any questions or thoughts, please either PM me or e-mail me.

Thank you,
Leo.

lol. I know, I told him that BEFORE posting here! Of course, he wasn't laughing... Anyways, that's the price he would like to get. The price I was thinking about was more around $400 - $500 for everything. Still, he wished for me to ask his $550 first, then work a deal down to a more decent/reasonable price.

I searched on e-bay, and these wheels (SILVER) are going for $300.
Tirerack has the stock tires for $57.00 (EACH), so $228 for all four.

Total from that would be $528, but since the wheels are white (a little harder to find), he raised the price; but forgot to discount for the used tires.

Will let him know, of course.
So basically, (realistic) pricing would be around $400, or better offer. Anybody interested?

Thanks you,
Leo.

two tires look pretty worn.. compare the thread pattern with the other two.. the side edge sipings are worn out. definitely not "LIKE-NEW"

The two tires described as "like new" look way too worn down to be considered worth much at all. I think you are looking at a set of wheels/tires worth about $250 tops.

Brand new sets from actual new car dealers sell for less than $400 quite frequently.

You really should change the wording of your ad, or else it should be yanked by a moderator. To describe those tires as "like new" is absurd. What kind of idiots do you think we are?

Hey, hey easy, man! It would've been ABSURD and calling you guys IDIOTS if I claimed they were BRAND NEW, NEVER POSTED A PICTURE, and said that price is non-negotiable!

On the other hand, the tires are shown there, so I am at least being honest.
As per the wording, my dad had a lot to say about it.

After your "welcomed feedbacks", we both agree that the wording and the pictures are misleading, and granted, should be changed. I apologize for not doing it sooner, I just didn't have the chance, being that I had a fractured hand, that's all.

So, we all agree that all four wheels are in new condition, correct?
Two tires are in new condition whereas the other two are in, let's say "usable condition"? *Other words/descriptions welcomed*
And of course, the price must match accordingly, so after research and studies, I found a reasonable price range for $250 - $350. Make us an offer we can't refuse - they're yours.

Is everybody ok with this now? I apologize for the previous post, but like I said, my dad's been very strict about it.

Any other comments or feedbacks welcomed, but please, just don't take me for an a**hole trying to cheat you from your money. I've been there, wouldn't do it to others. That's bullsh*t, specially from a "Motorer" to another.

Thank you, and be safe.
Leo & Dad.

No, the "bullsh*t" was in your original post. I was just calling you on it. But I'm glad to see you've changed the wording. Sorry to be harsh, but really, the description wasn't even close to accurate.

First, I could never sell something like a wheel that I had used until I had completely worn down a set of tires and still call it "in new condition". Maybe a set of wheels/tires that had been used to drive home from the dealership and had a couple hundred miles on them could be called "like new", but definitely NOT this set that has been used for the several thousand miles it would take to wear down a front set of stock tires.

Secondly, two of the tires that you are calling "useable" are so worn down that you can see in the photos that they are down to the wear bars. That means that they are NOT LEGAL for use because they are dangerous. The other two tires described as in "new condition" are the rear tires that never got rotated in the number of miles it took to wear those "useable" tires down to the wear bars.

A fair and accurate description of these wheels/tires might go something like this:

15" white holey with original tires. Well cared for and used for ___________ miles with no scratches or dings or paint chips. Two tires are worn down to the wear bars. The other two tires have some XXXmm of useable tread but have been used for the same number of miles listed above.
