Just an FYI, for those in the Los Angeles area on May 21st, I'm holding a MINI/Mini car show and the grand prize is going to be one of these armrests.

It is my understanding that the Deutsch Post works with DHL. Our armrests were shipped via Deutsch Post which is the equivalent to the USPS but with a twist. DHL takes the packages from Deutsch Post and then routes them to the US and hands the packages off to the USPS. The packages were likely loaded into cargo boxes and loaded on ships. It is the slowest method of shipping as well as the most inexpensive.

I apologize to veryone.

Good things are worth waiting for...isn't that why the average MINI owner orders their car and waits for it to be built, shipped and delivered instead or walking onto a lot and picking a car from what's there. Ok enough of my attempt at motivational speaking....Let's Motor!

Now I can't do this for a whole ****load but I don't mind doing a few if they are still available.

Can I be the first to stand in line to choke this guy?

Just kiddin'.
If my old unit in Darmstadt was still active, I would have contacted someone there, but apparently the Med Evac unit I was with is out of business.
goaljnky - no need to apologize. Tell you the truth, I am more concerned about what's for supper tonight.

Or rather, sell them overseas as it seems they don't get them at all!
I am in wait mode also. I sent the extra 20 Euros nearly two weeks ago and sent an email to the seller informing him that I had. I haven't heard anything back with a confirmation or shipping info. I guess I will fire off another email.
Just got a message Friday that the fellow in Germany did not pick up his Paypal. I sent payment to the "pay now" address. Something's up?
Luckly, we have a German National working here in my office for a few months. I asked him to send an e-mail so we won't have the language barrier. Will let y'all (that's Southern for "you all") know.

Please let me know the details.
thanks Jeff
According to an e-mail I got today from Baum Automobile, the armrest was shipped out the 19th of this month, and will take two to four weeks to get here. I bought it on the 13th, so it took them almost a week to get it to DHL.
Not as fast as I would want, but at least it is on it's way.
Hopefully.

I used a credit card to complete the transaction. I think you remember I was having quite a time with the wire transfer. Had a buddy here at work that is fluent in German give them a call and ask if I could use the card. The rest is history.
I'm surprised you havent received yours seeing how you were a week ahead of me. Hopefully it will be waiting for you when you get home.
