Mini R53: "Mk I" Mini Cooper S 2002 - 2008
Description:

Front poly bushing inserts with caster.  This is the upgraded version of the regular poly bushings.  It's the purple street version.

I bought to redo my front end, but I'm not going to track days anymore so the regular version is sufficient.  I've had it too long to attempt to return it so it's available here.

I could use a new alternator if someone is interested in trading.

How much caster do these provide, and how much do they retail for? How much do these increase noise and vibration and harshness? My R53 sees the track and is driven on the road, so I want to keep things on the more comfortable side. Thanks!

Powerflex indicates 2* of caster adjustment. Since it's the purple street version I don't think it will add much additional nvh. Maybe someone else can come in. Price new is over 200.00. how that helps. They are described in detail on the power flex website.

Thanks. I'm interested in these but I'm checking with Powerflex to see if the camber is adjustable. Negative 2 is great for the track, but may be a bit much for the highway.

It's the caster that's adjusted not the camber. I'm sorry if I wrote camber in my ad. My reason for buying the kit was due to the tram lining I experience with my increased front camber. I hardly drive the car anymore and I'm definitely not on the track anymore so it didn't make sense to remove and likely destroy the currently installed power flex bushings only to install the adjustable caster kit.

No worries, my bad for confusing caster and camber. I think I need to dial in some more camber before I worry about caster. Good luck with the sale; at least I provided some honest bumps for you!😁

Hey veggie, Ireland engineering might be a good source for camber plates.

Was looking through my records and noted that I bought a set of powerflex lower ball joints that had -1.25* camber. I bought them from Jan but didn't see them on his or powerflex' website. Maybe check in with powerflex?

@2out2sea Thanks, I had contacted them to ask about any products for an R53 that could dial in camber, and they don't. They did inform me that the product for sale by OP allows you to adjust the caster.
