Because they like to middle man and rely on what the other retailer says and not actually have alot of the listed items in house/on hand..
check ebay or allmag , ive had awesome luck with allmag though allmags usually only used parts.

But if your interested in a used set I know an r53 locally here had them , I can call and see if there still on it.. the yard I been going to for 20yr and I get awesome prices..they'd be probably 10$ a light.

I bought mine from ECS in 2021. They were shown as 3 1/2 months out when I bought them, but it took 5. Of course, global supply chain issues were still happening.

It takes some time to get in because we order them with a lot of other items, MINI Euro, BMW euro, Audi euro and etc... They come on large pallets with other items to share shipping costs. They just don't ship out air.
