Description:
Hi All - The car is an 06 factory JCW slicktop with anthracite headliner, full row of toggle switches, heated cloth seats, and chrono pack. Runs and drives great with no warning lights. I work remote, I also have a Focus, and my wife has a Rav4 so I don't ask too much of this car.
I bought this Mini in October 2020 and it had approximately 69,000 miles on it. Currently sits at right about 86,000.
The good:
- Clutch replaced January 2020 (68k miles) by previous owner
- No sign of headliner sagging
- Paint correction/ceramic coating
- Oil/filter changed annually
- Full roof wrap
- WMW rear sway bar installed
- HK Audio
- Koni FSD suspension (06/2022)
- New harmonic balancer/serpentine belt (07/2023)
- New Thermostat/aluminum housing (05/2024)
- Rust under the taillight has started... I took it to a body shop to have the taillight cut/patched but the piece they replaced it with is rusting quicker than it was before. I have a patch panel from a donor car, but have not installed.
- Passenger rear quarter panel was repainted during the above "patching"
- Paint chips on front bumper.
- Front bumper was repainted at some point prior to me owning it. you can see a bit of flaking in some areas.
- Passenger Rear axle is squeaky. Boot tore open, so when the weather is nice I will either repair/replace.

Your being a 2006 with the JCW factory-built 3AL pkg adds great appeal despite noted corrosion issues. As to current valuation, many here refer to Bring a Trailer (BaT) results for current economy-related valuations on these 1st Gen cars. On that site, you can easily research prior auction listings and results.

great looking car. wheels and roof are sweet. seems perfect for someone who:
-wants a real JCW
-wants a daily driver they can autocross and/or track
-will drive car year-round in snow country
hope you find the right buyer!

Nope didn't sell it yet. Not a ton of interest but want to keep it on NAM because it's where I got it from and would like to see it go to someone who really wants it. If it's still around later in the summer I'll likely put it on marketplace
