Did you call Way and ask if that was truly the case? Their website isn't always correct; I get much better information from them when I talk to them directly.

I was in the same exact boat looking for X brace for my R55. No luck, ended up buying a Ultra Racing front lower body brace from this dude:
https://www.ebay.com/str/bestho66

The brace was made well, cost a fraction of the TSW version and most importantly, totally took care of the mid body twist I felt when I really pushed the car around bends.
All and all, really happy with the buy.

I actually bought UR-ML4-1649, the trapezoid piece. I was tempted to get 1648 as well but found 1649 is more than adequate.
The thing doesn't flex at all. I recalled emailing bestho66 for price match and got it. I would definitely email him to ensure you are ordering the right part
as it's coming from Malaysia

One more thing, I have stock jcw struts / springs. For the past couple years, I have only made slight contact with a pothole once. For those with the car lowered, may wanna check/consider ground clearance even though the brace is well made.

No leads on the brace unfortunately, but if you ever want to part with your aero kit, let me know. Also in SoCal.

I apologize, but I seem to be a little confused. This picture is your car, and it shows brace #1648, which goes from the control arm mounts back to the subframe connections. #1649 goes from the subframe connection bolts back to the mid brace. #1648 is the brace that would mimic the WMW TSW X Brace. That brace also looks like it droop pretty low. Any issues with clearance?

All good. I am tempted to pick up that brace, but my car sits kind of low. I'd be worried about scraping it everywhere.
