I have the parts need for an R50 6 speed getrag conversion
I did this conversion, and then lost the engine a couple months later to bad compression.
I spent around $3000 on this all when I bought it.
The flywheel kit, axles, slave cylinder, and shift cables have less than 5000 miles on them. The gearbox had about 100K miles if I remember right. It had no problems in my car when installed.
includes:
Getrag 6 speed manual transmission (non-LSD, It is the BKE version with the desirable gear ratios)
Driveshaftshop Level 0 axles with OEM bearing mount from R53
OEM Starter
OEM clutch slave cylinder & pipe
Valeo single mass flywheel conversion Kit (flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate)
shift box +cables with short shift kit installed
mounts brackets, bolts, etc
prefer local pickup in Indianapolis
freight could be arranged
Interested. You wouldn’t happen to have a set of struts to go with it?
I will make a decision soon. Might just stay 5 speed.
OK, it is still available. I don't have struts, but I do have a bin of parts I pulled from the car before scrapping it out. Let me know if there is anything else. The struts went with the shell.
Does the transmission have fluid in it? Does it leak at all? Also, do you have the door for the interior air filter?
The transmission did not leak at all when I had it installed, and I had put on new seals at that time.
The transmission is not full of fluid, because the fluid comes out when the axles are removed.
I don't have the air filter door, but I do have fog lights.
