You say that these fit 2002+ Mini? Do these come with back plates that the calipers connect to?

no plates needed , these are plug and play , you bolt them to your spindle
however , you do need braided brake lines for the r53 to r56 calipers around $60 from WMW , new pads with hardware around $60 , and JCW rotors around $165
this is what they look like , and a great upgrade

$1000 is quite a steep ask for these. Are you negotiable at all?

Wouldn't have piped in if you didn't suggested trying to find cheaper, These are reconditioned by a reputable remanufacturer.

Just exactly in the same sort of way that ATE calipers aren't MINI calipers. After all, ATE grinds the logo off - can't possibly me MINI parts. GLWS

Do you know of these can be ran with a 16in aftermarket rim ? Reason I say aftermarket is they're wider than stock so clearance is more.

not sure adam , hard to say , every rim is different
i run 6 piston calipers on my personal car with OZ wheels 17x7 and they clear with no spacers , now if i try to run 17 jcw wheels or even the 18 jcw wheels i cant cause they hit ....
these calipers would look awesome on your car
i been saving these for my convertible, but i have another JCW car coming in this week
