Is the resonator after the catalytic on a JCW kit the same resonator on a regular MCS?

 

No, the resonator on the MCS is actually the right rear "muffler" (the one that's removed for the "one-ball"). Unlike the JCW, it doesn't have any resonator right behind the cat.

You may be looking at the main cat itself and thinking it's a resonator. There's two cats in series.

 

Thats what I needed to know because I know the JCW kit has an inline resonator, and yes i see the cats.
