The US JCW GP doesn't even get Recaros ... just cloth+leather sport seats

This I knew, but still held out hope for a RHD GP being fun to go for a ride in.

I have the same sources as everyone else motoringfile/whiteroofradio/NAM etc.

I'm not sure that MINI still sources the JCW seats through Sparco. I think you're correct in that both the current JCW and JCW GP seats are Recaro's.

I've kept doing research since yesterday, I haven't found anything. There is no company or an individual that offers importing those seats to the US. This is the only thing I found, but there is no word about the rear seats and they are soooo expensive.

Spend the money on a head and really get the car to scoot.

I agree, the $3K seats will probably be the last thing I do....... I want the car to run and handle as good as I can get it....(taking into account driveability) first
