What Is This White Connector?

I was installing wheel spacers on my new 24 JCW and noticed this white connector in the left rear wheel well with no terminals. I'm guessing it was for the electric damping that they did away with. I find it weird if that's the case and they still install a blank connector.

Thats just a holder to the body for the wire. Its a quick fit for the body harness in the cars production.

The wire for the Old EDC/DDC run up to the top of the strut inside the body in the body cavity.

Thanks but that sure seems weird to me to use that to hold the wire up.

Yep, on the back side of the clip you can see wire wire, they use those to hold the wire tight to the body so it will not come in contact being around the wheel. Pretty common shared clips and parts, we see it all the time.

Most of the clips you find on a MINI will be shared by Rolls Royce as the factories and the manufacturers are in the same area in the UK where BMW will have a part made just for the BMW cars. Lots of plastic panels are also made in the same factory that supplies Rolls.
