Powerflex Lower Engine Mount - Do It!

Just installed this upgrade. I never thought the engine felt sloppy under acceleration or when shifting, but the before and after is amazing. Completely smooth and flat acceleration and shifting now. Can’t recommend this highly enough. The only difficult part about the whole thing is getting the old rubber insert out of the factory mount. The trick is to cut around and remove the outer edge on one side, and then push it through. Don’t cut your finger off while you’re at it!

I did not use the black insert. Saw negative things about vibration. Currently I have very slight additional vibration at idle. Not sure I would notice it if I had not anticipated it happening.

Is this useful for street driving, or just track use?

Also, I wonder if this can be done on my F57 convertible? There are, sadly, several good F56 mods that don't work because of the F57's extra bracing. Sigh ...

Good to know, thx.

I may have ALL my bushings changed to soild or poly. I'm hoping that might also slighlty tighten up the steering, which has too much give in the center for my liking.
