O2 Sensor Elbow and CEL fix

Anybody have insight or ever use one of these? There are quite a few all over Ebay.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/203746459419

I installed Milltek Header and sport Cat and aside from getting a CEL code, the tip of sensor hits the tunnel wall, really just barely touching. I started looking for an angle adapter then found this. I assume w my sport cat it will probably throw a code regardless. Yesterday I cleared code then it returned. Also...is there an easy way to test the sensor itself? should I just replace it? Should I replace both upstream and downstream?

Any/all advice is appreciated...

Not specifically on the Mini, but I have used a O2 spacer with success before on my Seat Leon 1.8T when I fitted a decat downpipe.

I installed the right angle on mine but I got the p0137 (low voltage) so I’m not sure if it’s the same issue that can be fixed with straight spacer.

Did you get it sorted out?

I replaced the header on mine with a Scorpion and inadvertently deleted the first cat. It runs well, but the CEL P2096 was a common sighting until I replaced the O2 sensors with NTK ones. They did not solve the issue until I installed the 90 degree adapters. Occasionally the light would reappear and the last time it did, I tightened up the sensors and adapters a little more, cleared the code and it hasn't been seen again after several thousand miles.
