I didn't weigh it before installation, but it feels heavier than the stock one. I'm not sure if heavier is better, but it feels more substantial when I shifted the gears. It also feels like it is not quite as tall as the original one, and feels better in my hand. It goes on so easily that I may take it off and compare the weight and height of the two units.

I've got a shortshifter so it takes more effort to move the lever since there's less leverage to use. A heavier **** makes it easier and smoother to shift. My Raceseng weighs 635g and while I never weighed the stock **** the Raceseng is much, much heavier.
Three days from England to Texas. Took all of 8 minutes to install. I think they look great. They really feel well built.
These look real nice with the red clip rings. They miss the JCW logo of the Gen 2 but otherwise they have the exact same shape. I like these subtle little carbon fiber upgrades because they dress up an interior nicely. With the matching carpets, its even better.
I have one of these which I'm considering placing in my gen2 roadster, had planned on a Whalen but picked it up when buying some Union Jack rear lights for my F56, looks like it's 3/4" taller than the jcw **** in the roadster
im sorry not to be exact but my new jcw **** comes in about 200 grams, on scales with trimming fabric sat on worktop
**** is about 4 visible or 5 inches including Collar fixing below trimming fabric
I have a JCW Pro Carbon Fiber/Alcantara shift **** in my 2022 JCW and it put fiber splinters in my hand. I thought it was defective and got another one - it does the same thing. Has anyone else had this issue? Typically carbon fiber has a coating on it, this model of the shifter does not.

Lmao! I thought I was the only one that had that problem! I will say it goes away after a few miles. Doesn’t do it anymore, I’m at 4,200 miles. Enjoy, Jose
