New rotors for my MINI GP2 Brakes

My brother was in town and I finally had time to install my "new" rotors. Made by TCE Performance for me last April. I didn't weigh them but they sure are light! New EBC Red pads installed as well.

Relatively easy install of rotors and pad but glad my brother was there to help as I had to shim the calipers a bit to get some clearance for the pads from touching the hats. Things always go better when your brother can help.

Sorry, I didn't accurately measure the rotor. I did place them back to back and they are very close, with the TCE rotor being a hair larger in diameter. I will tell you that the edge of the flange of the hat where it bolts to the rotor is dimensional larger at that point. Enough so, that when we first installed the caliper, there was contact and the assembly could not rotate. To remedy this, the caliper was shimmed about 2mm using stainless steel washers at the two mounting bolts to bring the caliper out away from the center of the rotor. That's about the thickness of a nickel and provided the needed clearance between the edge of the pad and outer edge of the rotor hat.
