Aftermarket rotors or OEM rotors for OEM brakes system?

Hi All,

My OEM rotors is due for replacement. I wondering should I get buy the aftermarket rotors or OEM rotors for my 2004 MINI ONE OEM brakes system? Any benefit if I get the aftermarket one?

Cheaper?
I'd get the aftermarket Brembo oem spec rotors they are cheap and good quality. Or are you reffering to the ATE premium type (btw: also cheap price good quality and they stay silver) and the more higher priced DBAs great rotors never tried them

I'm not sure if its any cheaper than OEM or not. Since I due to change the rotors, I want to see what other option i have and is there any benefit or not

The benefit is cheaper price

OEM = $109 + tax

Aftermarket is ~$32... (no tax...try rock auto )

I just changed the rears with the raybestos - As far as I can tell, just as good as the OEM.

But some prefer OEM - which is fine. The dealers have to make profits. (just not off me!)

I bought Powerslots from the Tirerack.

No issues and they still look new because of the zinc coating.
