JCW JCW Spark Plugs ...............

JCW Spark Plugs ...............
Last week, I received OEM new spark plugs. The part number on the box is 12 12 0 035 933. Curiously, the porcelain is stamped as "champion 12ZR-6SP03. There are different numbers and digits stamped on the metal part with also "Made in France".
Is there anybody who can confirm I have the right parts for the N18 JCW engine before doing the job?
I am asking because the Cooper S plugs look different from pictures and don't need service as early as the JCW 20-30K interval.

With that OEM MINI part number they looks like the Base ( NON S) MINI Cooper plugs for a N12 engine.

Your plugs OEM Part 12122293697 or 12ZR6-SPP2 -1 or 12ZR-6SPP2-1
Did you get them from us? Looks like oem used to be beru and they switched to Champion of France.

This is also strange I received 10 instead of 4 and the packing slip was from a large BMW/Mini dealer from NY state.
But...... something tells me they may also be right as a superseded part number being 12ZR-6SP03 that probably identify a different BMW supplier from the last 3 digits.

I am surprised you don't know since you sell OEM parts.
Anyway, I removed the old ones and they are the same Champion. The new ones are without the 3 blue rings on the porcelain.
Bottom line, for those who own a JCW, changing the spark plugs at 20K instead of 30K as recommended by the manufacturer is not a luxury. They were OK but I understand now why they replaced them twice during the factory maintenance. So it's the 3rd set from new now.

I know, but MINI likes to do supersessions and then they don't update the etk nor anything else and release bulletin internal. Only when there is a massive change over do they update the etk or i just randomly come across it.
I have not found the separate part number for that cover. I know its not part of a new valve cover,. If i did and find it i will post up, I am guessing its part of the wire harness.

Talked to a shop and they said during that time they got a lot of bad NGK plugs as well. Went to OE Champion from the dealer had zero issues.
