Brazen's Midnight Black/Chilli Build Thread
Hi All
My wife and I are finally the proud owners of a 2017 JCW Hardtop 3 door and after seeing so many good build threads here on NAM I thought we may as well start our own.
Colour combo is Midnight Black/Chilli Red, although I forgot to take photos of it stock here are some of an exact replica from another dealer;

This is my wife's dream car and DD therefore the mods will be tempered to her liking (My daily is a moderately modified 2015 6.4L Hemi Jeep SRT )
First mods on the list;
New perspex plates - Black with silver reflective lettering (Australian)
Eibach Pro Kit Springs
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 18x8 ET40 wheels

I should also add that this thing is a blast to drive! The power-weight ratio is so impressive we have been taking this instead of the SRT wherever we go, even with our 2 kids having to climb into the backseats
It is off to get windows tinted today, 20% all-round, will post some pics when I get it home.

OK so here she is with 20% tint all-round... Also added gloss black light trims front & back, CF stubby antenna with 'MINI' lettering along with matching valve stem covers. Starting to look pretty good, happy with everything so far.
It's getting muffler delete today with new 3.5" black chrome tips installed, hopefully sounds good! if not, we will look at full custom exhaust options. Will post a couple of before & after video links once done...
Other mods on the list to come - Rear wiper delete, replacement grille trim in gloss black, vinyl wrap belt line and door handles in GB, fuel cap cover GB, lower front duct trims (horizontal) gloss red to match JCW grille strip.

Had the muffler removed and new 3.5" tips installed last week and it is insane, love the new sound... it has a deep, throaty sound and once its warm the burbles, cracks and pops are awesome.... Still working on uploading the before and after vids but until then this was today's smaller project;
Shapeways 3D print red key fob cover and Mini silhouette key ring (Not F56 but still love it)

So I finally got it together and uploaded the muffler delete video for anyone interested;
The sound is great, deep note through the gear changes then almost inaudible at cruising speeds. Lots of pops, once its warm on every deceleration and you can really make it pop using the paddle shifters which is pretty addictive.
Cost me $500.00 AUD, mainly because I got new tips and pipe as I chose to remove the entire muffler and existing tips in one piece - so I can re-install easily if needed.
