Modding Woes :(

It’s been almost a month since I have installed the following:

Dinan Elite
NM catless exhaust
AWE carbon fiber air intake
Forge FMIC replacement

I have to say that something is either woefully wrong with th Dinan Elite or the Forge FMIC. After verifying everything was hooked up correctly and the hoses we’re clipped onto th intercooler I am still baffled why I can only make 13lbs of boost. I don’t feel very much power gain either. Tried resetting the ECU and still nothing. Is there some other tune that would help ? Does a better BOV help? Hoping someone can point me the right direction.

Did you install the Dinan Bypass to see what happens when it is not in play. That should tell you pretty quickly if it is working.

Without a custom tune that's all the boost you are going to see, The factory tune opens the exhaust recirc at ten psi in normal driving and twelve psi when you floor the accelerator.

that is a good of Point I will try that. Definitely easier than what I was going to do by reconnecting all of the factory sensors together.

Bypass installed boost levels still the same. Does that mean a bad Elite unit?

Did you get your tune working properly? It's a great product and I would reach out to Dinan if you haven't figured out your issue.

Oh yeah great product. Just ask the guy who has had to sent his back 3 or 4 times and finally got sick of Dinan's crap and got a refund.

No I ended up using a different company and reflashing ECU.

That's too bad. We had a lot of trouble at our dealer with the smaller Dinan Sport module throwing codes but we've had absolutely no trouble with the Dinan Elites. We have had a shaky relationship with Dinan but I am very impressed with the Elite on my car.
