Hi...new JCW owner

Just wanted to say "Hi"...hope to learn so much from everyone. Picked up a 2016 Rebel Green JCW for my wife Friday night. She owned a Cooper S three years ago and has missed it ever since...problem solved. WHAT A BLAST! She has the MINI and I have the Maxi---

Congrats love the MINI. Not normally do I like Mustangs, but even I admit the new ones like yours look good.

Looks great, some red mirrors would be cool.

We talked about red mirrors but the wife likes the stealth look...tint is first

I went overboard with the red parts on my JCW. After about 6 months I got bored of it being so loud, so went back to the super clean stealth look.

Too much red on the green and it starts to look Christmas looking.

You found this used? I assume since you typically don't clay bar a new car.

Funny the wife said the same thing...she didn't want it looking like a Christmas tree.

The story on this car is a classic statement of karma... Her BMW hit 93k miles recently and I said to start looking for her next car. She missed her Cooper S from 3 years ago so much I knew it'd be another MINI. She went to MINIUSA and built a car and sent me the link. I looked at it and thought for the hell of it I'd do a 100 mile search on Autotrader...lo and behold a local used car dealer in our small Alabama town has the exact color and optioned car she just sent me...the difference is instead of a Cooper S it's a JCW.
Next thing you know she's picking up a 2016 JCW with 8k miles on the clock. So it was out of Florida and had some tree sap and water spots so could use a good lengthy detail and now she shines like a beacon. I still can't believe our luck. She was meant to be back in a MINI and I'm so thrilled with the JCW power.

J.
