I forgot to keep a spare battery (2032) in the car. The main reason I'm considering it is for the esthetics. I think the black tips would look better with the way I have my car blacked out. I refuse to spend the ridiculous amount of money they want for the OEM CF tips.
Have you considered keeping your JCW Pro exhaust and just replacing the tips? Unless you're also switching exhausts for the sound, buying black tips would be much cheaper. Lots of options out there too.

The tips on the JCW remove with a set screw. There's endless black tips that will fit the pipe diameter that are not OEM Mini. Check the diameter and search online or go visit a high end muffler shop.

Anyone know the diameter of the JCW Pro exhaust outlets? Not the tips, but the actual pipe diameter. Due to physical limitations I can't get under the car to remove a tip and measure it. I found a set of tips that look okay on the ECS web site, but their sales guy couldn't tell me if they would fit.

I'm 99% certain it's 2.75".

Good idea Dan, but no joy at either place.

Thanks Matt. But, I think I had better wait until I can get it on a lift and pull one of the tips off and measure the pipe before spending another $150. Shouldn't have a problem selling the JCW tips at least.
