I'm was going with the stealth look on my JCW. Same as RD's above. Now thinking of maybe some stripes. I had the viper stripes on my MCS and they were pretty great.
Maybe something similar.... feels like a lot of...white silver...

Anyone have an opinion?

My JCW

It's a hot hatch or luxury go-kart and it's too expensive to be practical but I love him anyway. I call him JR after trading my 2014 C7 Z51 in on him.

I'm liking your choice of colors!! Interesting also is that I traded a 2013 C6 'Vette for mine.

Thanks. I think breaking up the red with the rocker panel stripe really made a big difference. Now for some tint.

Thanks, we think alike. Can you say where you got the JCW stripes and how much? I've not seen that one before.
Thanks

You should be able to order them from any MINI dealer's website using the JCW performance parts dropdown menu under the Accessories & Motoring Gear heading. Actually, the stripes are for a R56 JCW. The going rate uninstalled seems to be $141. I purchased them from MINI of Tempe AZ. Somehow I got $25 off when I ordered. The part number for black on my invoice is 51-14-2-232-633 (side stripes). Hope this helps.

My Wh/Slv JCW

For your viewing pleasure...

Recent clear bra, tint, graphic, running lights. Considering the black trim but think I will hold off and see what you all are doing to your minis at Minis On the Dragon in May. Might find inspiration there.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread, but for those of you that chose a black Mini JCW, are you still happy with the black color and how well has it held up? Did it get foggy looking after a while? I just ordered one this past Saturday, black with red roof, but the chance of black paint water spots, swirls, and fogging up over time concern me. Thanks.

I wouldn't get a dark colored car without ceramic coating which I did for my Enigmatic Black JCW and it looks amazing so far...I am pretty meticulous with washing though and minimize abrasion.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I really like the black with red roof combination but I'm afraid of the usual dark paint issues. Thanks.

Depends on how you take care of your car. My metallic black JCW is 6yo, doesn't have a ceramic coat like yours, but it looks better than when I took it home from the dealership.

The Hardtop looks so good lowered, my MINIs have always been daily drivers, and I need the freedom of reasonable clearance. And , regardless, your car looks fantastic.
