Red roofs rare??

 

These days, the only way to get a red roof from the factory is by ordering a "factory" JCW.

 

Exactly.
The red roof only became an option for the R56 JCW in 2011 also. Its pretty rare to see a JCW, so its even more rare to see one with a red roof.

I've only seen 1 on the road, and that was Ords, who is on this forum too, and it shocked the heck out of me cause I really didnt' expect to see another one, and haven't seen one since...actually haven't seen another JCW since that day either.

But I really like it. It makes the car stand out. I get so many compliments from random strangers on the color combo of my car.

 

That red roof is so sexy. One of my favorite combos. A real looker. Kinda jealous lol.

 

I didn't realize these things. JCW only eh. I'm considering changing my roof color as I have the rooster red interior. But my roof is silver on a black car. but I don't want to get labelled as a wannabe JCW as thats not the intention.

Wow, with red interior that would look amazing. I wouldn't be too worried about having a wannabe-JCW. In any case, you should get it vinyl wrapped. Worse case scenario you pull it off later on. Maybe wrap the mirror covers too
