Ok everyone, just post what color combo you ordered for your new JCWs! I'm trying to get a clear picture of what were the top picks for our JCW garage.
I'll start out..

My JCW order is a Thunder grey / Red roof

 

Midnight black metallic/Chili red roof & mirrors

 

Midnight Black with chili red roof and mirrors.

 

That's mine too. It'll probably continue to be the de-facto JCW color combo.

 

Rebel green with a black roof. Stealth look.

Waited 8 weeks for her... Just picked her up last night!

Thanks. I almost ordered thunder gray but I liked how midnight black blended with the black bits on the car. I will be doing a few exterior mods over the next two weeks and will post an updated photo once complete.

3 Weeks from Oxford to the Dealership. It was stuck at the VPC in Baltimore for an extra 5 days due to the oil label recall.

 

Very nice! What mods you thinking of doing? I'm on the fence with adding the carbon fiber but in deffy doing the black trim.

 

Thunder Grey, Red Roof, custom stripes that will be red on the boot and bonnet and grey on the roof.

 

Here's what I have lined up:

JCW Pro Front Spoiler
Headlight and Taillight Black Trims
Sport Rod Antenna
JCW Pro Rear Spoiler Extensions
20% Tint
Gloss Black Wrap on Front Bumper Chrome

Kicking around the idea of Carbon Fiber for the scoop and side mirrors

 

Pepper white with red roof. 3rd Pepper white MINI for me...I'm a fan.

 

Love this color combination.

Well, my '04 JCW is British Racing Green. Rebel Green is much more true to real BRG.

 

BRG shade is still will probably always be debatable

 

Fair disclosure, I have not yet pulled the trigger, but I'm really itching to get a 3rd gen MINI JCW. (Have owned both the 1st and 2nd gen. cars, but never a JCW or even an S.) Soooo, what would be my color combo? I'm kind of undecided between two:


First choice: Lapisluxury blue, red roof and mirrors, white bonnet stripes, and a quick manual swap of the red mirror caps for white caps (can't be *that* expensive, right?). Of course the configurator won't let you do the swap, but that's what good, old GIMP is for. Comes really close to the MINI concept city car, doesn't it? Probably wouldn't find too many of these on the street.




Also posting an alternative view of the same car (from the German configurator instead of the US configurator) but without the mirror caps replaced this time.




Second choice: Pepper white with red roof and mirrors and the JCW bonnet stripes. Much less fancy, but still hot looking (and quite a bit less expensive).


All thoughts welcome.

 

That's nice. Get some black line trim and it will look really good.




Black line trim: Fits the JCW F56 also and Fits the F55 models too.

Thanks. I just replaced with the black trim from ECS this past weekend. Chrome grill trim is being wrapped in gloss black this weekend as well as 20% tint. I'll post an updated pic this weekend.
