Long time lurker... Just picked up this new 2018 JCW in White Silver / Chili Red. Haven't had a Mini in a few years, really missed it and glad to finally have one again.
Very cool thread. I am definitely a huge fan of the Laps Blue/Chili Red combo, as well as the classic Black/Red, but I felt that the dark paint hid the contours and vents. I REALLY wanted the bright polar white that is offered on the Countrymen, but alas, only the Pepper white is available on the F54, and I am not a fan. Therefore, White-Silver with the Red roof won the day. I am still debating how to adorn it with stripes/vinyl (hood/roof and side), as well as playing around with changing the mirror caps, blacking out the chrome, and possibly wrapping the door handles (in black or Black-Jack if I go with the Black Jack caps).
I'm happy with the color combo, but it needs some modifications to help it pop. Black out the chrome and door handles?
Always a huge fan of the two-tone interior; it always adds a little extra class IMO. Therefore, the Satellite Grey seats were required to open up the two-tone dash.
THIS is exactly how I would build my car if I were buying new. Beautiful car man. Hopefully I will find a used one in this combo.
Love your look, it's so hard to decide what to do. My wife wants to accent with white to match or offset her CM. She's white and black primary, with Teal accents.
I wish they would release caribbean aqua for hardtops. That was my 1st choice, then it was electric or starlight next. It's amazing how rich and deep starlight blue can be.
I really love the stickers that you've installed on your car!!! Where do I get them?? (red cornering bumper and red line along the body)
Thanks! I don't know of a kit or set you can buy & DIY. I took pics to a local vinyl & tint shop, and my guy there sketched the shapes & made mock ups, then cut & applied the finished design.
