Looks great! I really like the Pepper White and Chili Red Roof. I almost went with the JCW seats. It was a tough decision but in the end I decided on the Carbon Black Cross Punch Leather. With kids and dog I figured it would wear better. I wish they had a full leather seat in the JCW style.
Also, how does she sound?

The sound is perfect. Loud enough to know its there. But not droning at cruise. Not as loud as a quicksilver exhaust in an R56 but more mature. Constant burbles from the exhaust. This is the paddle shift transmission so on each shift there is a cool deep burble of sorts when shifting. Sound actually gets louder on the outside at each setting from green to sport. Zero turbo lag for some reason compared to my F56 S which seemed to have it from launch and between shifts. Overall very happy with this new smart transmission. Never thought I'd like it over a manual but I do.

My JCW has the standard sport suspension which is stiffer than the DCC suspension. My R56 had the dealer installed JCW suspension and I'd say it's a lot like that. Firm and planted, but not harsh, even with 18" wheels. Yet will be great on my annual track day to VIR. I'm sure your DCC will be a bit more comfortable, yet still give some aggressive response.

You are welcome. The dealer got in one friday, only getting 3 I think all year, and I traded my two Mini's on the JCW on Monday. My classic mini will be their showroom car, very cool. They are only getting 3 total this year and with the $1000 off the price if you take delivery by June was great. They had a memo that they couldn't even order a manual till June and I'd take delivery in August/September which meant I'd miss out on the $1K off deal. Didn't want the extra cost of the automatic, but now I'm loving it and feeling like an F1 drive blipping thru the gears. If yours is going to be here by June, I'd go to mini and sign up for the make it my mini event to get the $1K off the price of the car!!!!!

Congrats, I drove one on Sunday and was pretty happy with the power and the shifting in the sport mode. This coming from a guy that's not an AT trans fan is saying a lot. Can't wait till the manual comes.

I couldn't agree more, I really like this transmission set up as well as the downshift blips it does. Only had a G8 GT that was and auto in the past 5 cars I've owned, but this is fun. I'm sure the manual will be a blast as well. Now I understand what all of those exotic owners are doing when they drive on the road/track with their paddle shifters, and I like it.

(The pics are upside down because they are rotated in metadata, i.e. the photos have extra information that should tell the device displaying it to display in a certain orientation. Not all applications respect this data, which seems to be the case with these forums, and so the images are displayed as how they actually are orientated. Editing the photo in an app that does, for example by cropping as you said, usually rotates the images for real [not just in metadata] and it'll display properly on here.)
Congratulations. That car looks absolutely stunning!

I tried to crop the heck out of the pic next to the tahoe but it keeps rotating upside down. bummer, but still a neat pic

I think the dealership was fair with the price, but the important part to me is it's going to be their showroom car and taken out with the tarheel mini club local events so everyone can enjoy the little guy. Very happy about that. Wasn't even planning on selling it, I just had a new custom interior done by a coworker.

New feature I just discovered after reading the owners manual is the headligts that light up for the turns. I never selected auto headlights until tonight and darn if they don't work great and saved the life of a possum. At a stop, as I turned the steering wheel, the side bank of LEDs lit up and shown onto an oncoming possum! Very happy now to have this option. Didn't have it on my 2014 F56 S. Plus now that I'm working 3rd shift, this will come in very handy every day I drive to and from work! Up to 500 miles on the odometer, half way ish thru breakin period!
