Is this the death rattle

I heard this noise and recorded it. It went away after the engine warmed up and when I restarted it, it wasnt present. Any thoughts?

imo, something else. Not the "death rattle" of the chain.

That sounds like the timing chain. Get it measured and you'll know if it's time to fix it.
