Hood Scoop Melting ?

I run my car pretty hard on the street and on the track, haven't had anything melt just yet. But before anything could happened I prevented what may have happened. Problem solved for under $10, This is 4000 degree resistant material , should do the trick.

I tried to get M7 to make one like that last year but using their thermal gel material and instead of the one they ended up making which is more of a Turbo blanket....

Nice job !

Looks great, almost OEM.

I need to patch/protect a spot on my bonnet liner where it's prone to rubbing through. What product did you find to use? Thanks!

I don't have any spots that are rubbing, but if I did I would use 3m anti slip material...usually found on metal stairs. It's cheap and works really well.

Ah, so clarifying, the spot where it's rubbing is right above the turbo. So that product you used seemed like it would be ideal for what I need. Can you let me know what you used? Thanks!
