The JCW looks great! Did you dip the door handles or are the carbon covers?

Thanks! I was watching a few eBay auctions for them. I still cannot believe there is no one making black ones.

First I have seen the OEM R60 Roof Rack on a JCW countryman.

Looks good

There already was one in Ft Myers a week or so ago. The one salesman traded his JCW Coupe for the R60 JCW and Iguess traded that in and got a loaded M4 or something like that. My one friend sent me the picture of the R60 on the showroom floor for $37k.

trying to find one, im sure i can find one for 30k in a year or so. i rather trade mine in for a used JCW r60 or r61 than a new one for 35-40k

I was honestly surprised at how little power MINI gave the JCW cars, the same engine is used in the Peugeot RCZ R which has 270hp. The JCW Countryman/Paceman should have at least 250hp to make the competitive.

Im really hoping a decent tune for the JCW R60 becomes available. The car definitely has the potential there.

If Peugeots 270hp is anything to go by then yup sure is a hell of a lot of potential.

Truthfully, the RCZ R engine is only based on the Prince platform, it's not the same exact engine. And while the RCZ R THP270 engine numbers are impressive, Peugeot's entry level gas fueled THP200 Prince engine bears a remarkable resemblance to that of the JCW MINI HP / Torque numbers.

What should be noted is that the RCZ R 1.6 you formerly referred to actually has a twin-scroll turbo, forged connecting rods, low-friction bearings and F1-spec'd aluminium pistons to reach and maintain the extra 70hp you spoke of.

That said, it's not the same engine.
