Great Deal on JCW Aero Kit

Well at least I think it was. I called 4 Mini dealers requesting a quote for a complete JCW Aero kit for an R56, all 4 were over 2k for the kit, plus another 1k at least for paint.

I saw an add on eBay for a painted Astro Black NIB kit for $1500 shipped, by the time I clicked on the link it sold (was that one of you guys?!!)
Anywho, I emailed the seller, who happened to be Concord BMW in Northern California and I inquired about another kit, they said to call. So I called. I spoke with Lori and she was able to give me a kit at the cost she paid for it. All in all with tax and 2 day FedEx shipping the total was under $1300. I will have to get it painted, which with my local shop will be about $400-$500 with me prepping it. I'll install it, so that saves some cash.

The cost I paid includes everything, all trim, fasteners, grills, brake ducts, and she even threw in a new pair of rear fogs.

Lori was great to work with, she did her best to give me the best deal I could, only reason she couldn’t get me the same price as they listed on eBay is that they just wanted it out of their shop so they took the hit.
Might be worth a shot to give Concord BMW a ring to see what they can do for you.

That is a great price Look at my post and what I paid for it. Did you get the wheel arches as well or not yours might have already had them on it.

No, I have the stock plastic arches.

Good job on the paint, I used to work in a paint shop, and have restored a few cars so luckily I have buddies in the industry who will do it for cost only, otherwise I wouldnt mind turning my garage into a booth for a weekend.

Yeah, I just finished tearing down my cousins STi transmission to replace a synchro, clutch pack, replaced clutch and flywheel, so I am ready for a relaxing install with this. Although I am in the middle of a "trunk remodel" on my E21 which was supposed to be simple...

So it turned out that I was sent the rear bumper with park distance control, the 2 small 1/2" or so cut outs in the center. I dont have PDC, so they are sending me out a new rear cover.

All I can say is even though the wrong part was sent out, the customer service and willingness to make it right couldnt be any better. Good work Concord.

Nice! I also recently scored an amazing deal on JCW aero parts...

I originally got my front JCW aero bumper upgraded for 80$ in difference after a lady rolled into me and her insurance paid for a new front bumper.

I just picked up a painted rear JCW aero bumper for....... $150! Total win. Picked up so no shipping, painted ds already. Only blemish was a few small scratches on one corner which looks like from moving it when off the car. It was listed as new and uninstalled, but I have a different opinion on that. Regardless, lookig at it installed is a 9/10 unless looking for the scratch. Woo

Now, gotta be patient for side skirts...

Geez, where did you find that? One of the scrap parts websites? Please share I've been looking for a kit for over a year, don't want to buy it brand new...

This is some good information. Punched a raccoon Saturday morning when it was 24 degrees and the front bumper shattered pretty good. Think its time to lose the aero front end and go JCW with it. Was thinking if I can get the parts cheap I would not call the insurance but wow, if it's 1500 for a new front I might have to call this in.
