JCW Turbo Air feed hose keeps popping off
Turbo Air feed hose keeps popping off
Any one ever seen this problem? Had a problem with the Turbo leaking oil and that gas mileage was down. It has been a couple of months now Mileage is back to 30ish and every thing else is ok but this hose keeps sliding off??

Simple fix. Had the same thing happen. I cleaned the turbo inlet outer area with alcohol along with the rubber coupling inside the air inlet hose. When placing the clamp back on the hose, do not overtighten or it will begin to pull the hose away from the turbo. Had to buy a new clamp from the dealer because of overtightening, no problems since.
Thanks Short Wait, I'll try to clean it well but I'm pretty sure I torqued the clamp already. I might use the whole thing as an excuse to do a new intake and down pipe to the intercooler.
Any recommendations for either of these out there? Any comments would help, thanks

Ha! I just started having this problem too. Tried to clean it it but it was too hot. Will try again in a few hours. I have a decent amount of oil residue in the pipe. I might take the whole thing off and wash it out. Definitley going to put a catch can on this side too.
